Why do some succeed & some fail?

FIRST year of college Laura lost energy, missed classes, 2 hours to get out of bed. College professor referred to her as a deadbeat. Friends thought she was pregnant, depressed, lazy, into drugs. Laura was frighteningly confused, depressed, considered suicide. Doctors had no explanation. She dropped out of college.

Her suffering continued…hard to breathe, constant screeching in her head, bed spun, walls curled, can only move her eyes. After 8 years Dr.’s diagnosed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Despite many cruel challenges she still believed her life had to mean something. Laura wanted to be useful. So, she decided to write. With tremendous effort she produced 2 paragraphs per day, 1500 words in 6 weeks. When sitting brought on nausea she continued writing while laying on her back. When that did not work she continued with her eyes closed.

Eventually, she finished and submitted her book for publication. When finally published it went #1 in just 9 days and made into an Academy Award nominated movie…Seabiscuit. Oh ya, she wrote another book, Unbroken. That too made it to the big screen. Introduce your son/daughter to Laura Hillenbrand.
